In light of the important role of the AI Office for the effective and coordinated governance of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, as further reinforced by this Regulation, and without prejudice to the next Multiannual Financial Framework and to the budgetary procedure, the Commission should allocate adequate human, financial and technical resources to the AI Office to ensure that it can effectively, and within reasonable timeframes, perform its tasks in relation to the enforcement of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, including the allocation of a sufficient number of permanent personnel with in-depth competences and technical expertise.
